Follow his spooky encounters over the course of one incredible night, and his journey ultimately to become the friendly, charitable man who “knew how to keep Christmas well”.
Charles Dickens’ classic story has arguably come to define Christmas in the 175 years since its publication, and there have been numerous memorable versions, both on stage and screen. Chickenshed has updated, renewed and refreshed this amazing and heart-warming tale for 2018 in an entirely brand new musical version, set in 1930s Britain.

Complete with the famous rose, Millfield audiences can expect a fabulous telling of the infamous story, full of laughter, music and dance in the north London’s biggest family pantomime.
On Thursday 3rd January at 5pm there will be a relaxed performance. This is specifically designed to welcome people with an Autistic Spectrum condition, learning disability or sensory and communication disorder.
Like last year, schools performances, i.e. Monday to Thursday performances only – between 3rd & 20th December, will be exclusively reserved for school parties to book through the box office directly i.e. no online booking.
General public bookings for these dates may be possible after 4:30pm on Tuesday 30th October.

After the success of their recent pantomimes, Frosted and The Little Mermaid, SMP return to the Intimate Theatre with Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs – A Family Pantomime.
When her Magic Mirror tells Snow White’s Stepmother, that she is no longer fairest in the land, the vain, wicked Queen vows to put an end to her Stepdaughter. Aided by her friends, Snow White escapes and hides with the Dwarf family deep in the forest. But she is soon found and struck down by a poisoned apple. Will Snow White survive? Can true love save her? Will the Queen be fairest in the land once again? The only way to find out is to watch the show.
Featuring all the traditional elements of pantomime this new show written by Warren McWilliams promises to warm the hearts of children of all ages and adults alike. Featuring a range of hit songs, spectacular dancing and great gags, Snow White is a fantastic family pantomime that will not disappoint.
The show is written by Warren McWilliams, directed by Chris O’Shea, musically directed by Kate Sanders and Mike Benyon and choreographed by Wendy Cooper and Hayley McAra.
The show runs at The Intimate Theatre, 521 Green Lanes, Palmers Green, London, N13 4DH from Thurs 17th to Sat 19th January 2018 at 7.30 p.m. & Matinee on Sat 2oth & Sunday 20th January 2018 at 2.30 p.m. In addition, SMP will introduce an 11am Matinee on Saturday 20th with a show specifically tailored for our younger audience.

SMP are an amateur dramatics group who have been performing pantomimes, musicals and plays in and around the Enfield area for nearly 60 years. Our latest shows include Spamalot, The Little Mermaid, Pirates of Penzance, and Frosted. Our next show in 2019 will be Carrie – The Musical, based on the best-selling novel by Stephen King.
