The toymaker lives a simple and quiet life. He has just one child, his pride and joy; but (as all parents do) he worries. They often play alone and rarely bring friends home from school. Worried his child is lonely, the toymaker cooks up a cunning plan…

Using a magical 3D printer, he creates an all-singing all-dancing AI child! However, things don’t quite go according to plan when the AI child, serial number PIN:0Cch10, proves to be a bit too mischievous to handle!

Get ready for a theatrical experience that will leave you spellbound. With a captivating cast of colourful characters, big laughs and stunning sets The Toymaker’s Child promises to be an unforgettable journey. These fun, immersive sessions encourage young children to develop and explore the word around them through song, music and movement.

Created by Chickenshed’s Performances to Children team, Planet Play has been specially devised to encourage play and early communication development in young children. Research shows that singing songs and rhymes on a regular basis helps to widen your child’s vocabulary and listening skills which are an essential part of learning to read, write and communicate.

Tales from the Shedare vibrant, inclusive theatre shows that are perfect for young children. They are informal, lively and amazingly engaging as the performers and audience share the same space.

Every carefully planned show incorporates educational songs, movement and language games, which help promote brain development and early learning in young children.

Have yourself a merry little Christmas at a festive Baby Broadway concert this December with an interactive Christmas performance suitable for all ages.

Sing and dance along to seasonal show-tunes from hit musicals and well-known songs from Christmas films, all performed by our West End singers.

Returning to Chickenshed following their sell-out show earlier in the year, join the UK’s hardest swinging band Down for the Count All-Stars for “one hellova celebration of vintage music” (Time Out London) as they celebrate A Century of Swing.

Bring Your Own Baby Comedy is the UK’s premier baby-friendly comedy club! These multi-award-winning shows feature the funniest comedians in a totally baby-friendly environment. Most importantly, the events are all about you…the parents! (But don’t worry – we also take great care of our younger guests.)

There will be soft flooring, buggy parking and baby changing so that your baby is happy and you can relax. The bar is fully stocked pre-show, whether you fancy a cuppa or even something a bit stronger. The Brick People are coming to Chickenshed offering a wide range of LEGO® related activities.

Each hour long session consists of various LEGO® activity tables, some containing self-building activities such as Race Tracks or Mosaics and other tables featuring monitored activities such as a timed speed or tower build, where names of the builders are entered onto a leader board for the day for all to see.

The Chickenshed Community Choir is a uniquely inclusive environment to develop your singing skills as part of an ensemble through a fantastic series of vocal sessions.

During each session you will learn and help to develop vocal arrangements for a wonderful mix of songs arranged with a Chickenshed twist! Each week choir members have the opportunity to gain skills, confidence and a deeper understanding of how different voices can work together. To put your new found skills into practice, there will be ample opportunities to perform throughout the year!

No previous participation, experience or ability to read music is required – all you need is an interest in singing and plenty of enthusiasm!

Have yourself a merry little Christmas at a festive Baby Broadway concert this December with an interactive Christmas performance suitable for all ages.

Sing and dance along to seasonal show-tunes from hit musicals and well-known songs from Christmas films, all performed by our West End singers.

Returning to Chickenshed following their sell-out show earlier in the year, join the UK’s hardest swinging band Down for the Count All-Stars for “one hellova celebration of vintage music” (Time Out London) as they celebrate A Century of Swing.

Bring Your Own Baby Comedy is the UK’s premier baby-friendly comedy club! These multi-award-winning shows feature the funniest comedians in a totally baby-friendly environment. Most importantly, the events are all about you…the parents! (But don’t worry – we also take great care of our younger guests.)

There will be soft flooring, buggy parking and baby changing so that your baby is happy and you can relax. The bar is fully stocked pre-show, whether you fancy a cuppa or even something a bit stronger. The Brick People are coming to Chickenshed offering a wide range of LEGO® related activities.

Each hour long session consists of various LEGO® activity tables, some containing self-building activities such as Race Tracks or Mosaics and other tables featuring monitored activities such as a timed speed or tower build, where names of the builders are entered onto a leader board for the day for all to see.

The Chickenshed Community Choir is a uniquely inclusive environment to develop your singing skills as part of an ensemble through a fantastic series of vocal sessions.

During each session you will learn and help to develop vocal arrangements for a wonderful mix of songs arranged with a Chickenshed twist! Each week choir members have the opportunity to gain skills, confidence and a deeper understanding of how different voices can work together. To put your new found skills into practice, there will be ample opportunities to perform throughout the year!

No previous participation, experience or ability to read music is required – all you need is an interest in singing and plenty of enthusiasm!
